Bhumi Pednekar praises Vidya Balan

Although Bhumi Pednekar has starred in just one Bollywood film, she is playing her cards well. At present, she is busy promoting her socially relevant film, Toilet Ek Prem Katha. She is full of praise for Vidya Balan, who, in her own way, has been actively supporting the cause of building public toilets.

“I look up to Vidya for many reasons; I admire her for the kind of roles that she has done. She is a phenomenal actress besides being one of the few stars who are socially responsible.  She exudes a lot of warmth and believes in the betterment of our country,” Bhumi said.

Vidya, who is the brand ambassador for National Sanitation in India, has lent her support and voice to several ad campaigns for sanitation, across television and radio, in UP, Bihar and other states. Akshay Kumar and Bhumi’s film, Toilet Ek Prem Katha, also speaks about the same cause.
