Salman Khan snubs Priyanka Chopra, again

At an event on Friday to promote his forthcoming Eid release Bharat, Salman Khan smirked about Priyanka Chopra giving Katrina Kaif the finest role of her career. The allusion was to Priyanka walking out of Bharat at the last minute thereby creating the space needed for Salman’s most favourite girl Katrina to walk in.

At the event, the actor not only pulled a sarcastic one on Priyanka  by thanking her on Katrina’s behalf,  he  also  predicted that Katrina is  likely to get a National award for her  performance in  Bharat.

Okay, that was going too far. But everyone got the point. Priyanka has been snubbed for good. This isn’t the first time she has gotten into the bad books of  Salman. She has a history of mishaps on that front. But now it’s open war.

A close friend of Salman says this time there won’t be any turning point. “We don’t know why

Priyanka backed out after requesting for the role. But Bhai is done with her. He has moved on for good. Not that it matters to either of them. But  it’s a  pity when  relations between two  majors stars get so  ugly that the chances  of their ever working together are nil.”

While Salman has  Ali Abbas Zafar’s  Bharat and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah to look forward to, Priyanka has only one Indian  project, The Sky Is Pink(the title may thankfully change) with Farhan Akhtar.

Bhai’s gussa: Does anyone care?

Salman Khan, always known to be hot-headed, gets after actors/co-stars who don't 'toe his line'. First it was Vivek Oberoi - who Salman took great pride in humiliating at any given chance.

He fell out with SRK for a while, detests Ranbir Kapoor because he broke up with his friend Katrina, humiliated singer Arijit Singh who was found snoozing at an award show hosted by the Dabangg actor! And now it's Priyanka Chopra.

Salman perhaps can't get over the fact that she "walked out of his film" regardless of whatever the reason is.

But does anyone care anymore? Salman himself is no longer the invincible. His last three films have flopped. And all those people he went after have moved ahead in life.

Priyanka has become a global star and is going places. Internationally she's a better known actor than Salman.

Arjit Singh is the most sought after singer in Bollywood today. Even Vivek Oberoi, with many web series under his belt, is doing well for himself.

High time Salman realises his bad behaviour no longer scares anyone. Just shows him in poor light.
