Rating woes for the makers of HMKD

The novelty factor of Har Mard Ka Dard has failed to get positive results as far as ratings are concerned, which has led to the makers to give a serious thought on how to woo the tough-to-impress audience. The makers along with actor-turned-director Parmeet Sethi are planning to introduce a negative character in the show to spruce up the drama and pull up the dwindling TRPs.

A source from the set reveals, “Perhaps the show hasn’t clicked with the audience because it did not have an evil character to spill the venom. Generally stories keeps moving forward because of the troublemaker who ensures enough drama and element of suspense. Otherwise, the plot becomes too dull for the viewers. And as the saying goes, a show is incomplete without a negative character,. The makers of Har Mard Ka Dard have learnt it the hard way.”

Pooja Bose

With a new character coming in, there is a lot of buzz as to who will be roped in for the said role. We hear the makers have short-listed and approached Karishma Tanna and Pooja Bose for playing the negative part. The team will soon finalise either of the two actresses to play the negative character.
