Madhura Naik learns to cook for her new show

Actress Madhura Naik will be seen playing a key role in Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji. The actress who doesn’t know to cook in real life has specially learnt cooking to play the ideal woman in the show. “My character’s is seen cooking puris in the first shot. For someone who isn’t trained in cooking, it was fun to shoot since my role is the complete opposite of me,” says a reasonably excited Madhura.

Talking about her character, the actress adds, “Palomi is an ideal woman who stays in Umashankar’s aashram along with his family. She is a saranarthi. She is sarv gun sampan and is best of what a woman is expected to be. Palomi is secretly in love with Umashankar but cannot be vocal about her feelings given Uma’s values. Hence, she only talks to his sister Suman who she is extremely close to.”
