Alia fires her drunk on-duty bodyguard after being stranded in the wee hours

Mumbai: The A-listers of Bollywood are always accompanied by the bodyguards for their safety. They are rarely seen moving around without them.

According to a report in an entertainment news portal SpotboyE, the 24-year old actress, Alia Bhatt, was recently stranded alone in the middle of the road at 3 am without a bodyguard beside her.

Reportedly, Alia had gone to meet her supposed beau Sidharth Malhotra in Bandra and decided to make an exit from his place only around 3 am, to her Juhu residence.

Despite making numerous calls, her bodyguard didn’t answer the calls, which got the actress panicked.

Eventually, he took the call and Alia was on her way back home. However, when she sat beside her bodyguard in the car, she realized that he was drunk. As soon as he opened his mouth to explain his irrational behaviour, he slurred and smelt of alcohol.

Petrified Alia didn’t confront him in the car because she was afraid that some inappropriate consequences might follow.

As soon as she reached home, she gave the bouncer a piece of her mind and tried to make him realize his mistake. But to no avail, the bouncer kept denying that he was in a drunken state, whereas his antics proved otherwise.

The powerpuff girl narrated the entire incident to her mother Soni Razdan, post which momma dearest fired the bodyguard next morning.

Well, we hope Alia is now better and Sidharth too!
