Why Salman Khan won’t appear in Aayush Sharma’s film

With the release date of Aayush Sharma’s debut film Loveratri fast approaching, everyone’s wondering if the debutant’s brother-in-law Salman Khan will make a cameo appearance in the film or not. A while back, it was being said that Salman was planning to stay away from the film to let Aayush enjoy the limelight all by himself, but rumour has it that the real reason he’s against a cameo is that they’ve never worked for him in the past!

The actor has had a string of inconsequential cameos in films like Tees Maar Khan, Fugly, Tell Me O Khuda, Welcome to New York, and most recently Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se. His roles in those films neither affected box office numbers nor did him any favours.

“Salman has a cameo in Aanand L Rai’s upcoming Shah Rukh Khan-starrer, Zero. But that will be an important cameo, as indicated by the film’s teaser. Otherwise, Salman’s cameos don’t usually attract an audience. That’s the real reason why he doesn’t want to make an appearance in Loveratri,” a source says.

It’s true that even a superstar can’t save a bad film, so we’ll just have to wait and watch if Loveratri has the content to go the distance.
