Filmmaker Anurag Basu has joined hands with T-Series for his next project.
According to reports doing the rounds, filmmaker Anurag Basu has been working on a sequel to his hit film Life In A Metro, and he’s cast Kareena Kapoor Khan and Rajkummar Rao in pivotal roles. But now, we hear that though he is planning to make another slice-of-life film, it will not be called Life In A Metro, because it’s not being produced by UTV, the production house that bankrolled the first film.
A statement from T-Series’ head honcho Bhushan Kumar confirms that the company has joined hands with Anurag Basu for an ambitious project. The film will be a relationship drama starring multiple actors.
“Anurag is a master storyteller. He brings magic to celluloid with the way his stories pan out and the trajectories his characters follow. Both of us are super thrilled to be working together on a very special project with some very talented actors that we will be happy to announce soon,” says Bhushan in the release.
We’re looking forward to hearing more.
