Karan Johar’s next film about parenthood?

Rumour has it that Karan Johar is planning a movie about a couple trying to start a family. The story will be set in Delhi, and will feature Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan in lead roles.

This isn’t the first time that Karan is making a film about familial relationships, but it looks like he wants to put his first-hand experience with Yash and Roohi to good use. It will be Dharma Productions’ first film focussed on early parenthood.

Sources reveal that the film will be directed by debutant director Raj Mehta, who was the assistant director for Kapoor and Sons. Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani have reportedly been roped in to play supporting roles.
