Shah Rukh Khan on board for Amitabh Bachchan film?

Amitabh Bachchan has started shooting for Sujoy Ghosh’s Badla. The film is being bankrolled by Azure Entertainment and based on the Spanish thriller Contratiempo. Bachchan even gave fans a glimpse of his gruelling travel schedule when he posted a tweet about him having to spend ten hours in transit as he travelled from Glasgow to London for the film shoot.

Now, we hear that Shah Rukh Khan’s company, Red Chillies Entertainment, has come on board as a producer.

A source reveals, “SRK had been in talks with Azure regarding the film. He was keen to be a part of the film because it is a heady thriller about an accidental death, which is investigated and turns out to be a murder later. Girish Kohli, who has written films like Kesari and Mom, has written the script for Sujoy, and SRK was keen to be on board for the project.”

However, an official announcement is yet to be made.
