Karan Johar hates his name being misused. And why wouldn’t he? Often, actors and filmmakers from the industry tend to name drop bigger ones, in order to fuel their PR worth. So, fake stories like them dating a bigger star or working for a bigger brand is a norm.
However, Karan is upset about Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety boy Kartik Aryan talking about how he has been signed by the filmmaker for a multi-film deal for Dharma Productions. He has now clearly asked the PR teams of the other film to lay off.
“Karan used to keep quiet about a lot of things that are being written,” explains a source. “But at times the lies are far too many for him to keep quiet. The directions given through his team to that of the Sonu team is that they shouldn’t spread rumours to increase their box office collections.”
Recently, even Hrithik Roshan clearly sent a message to Sara Ali Khan’s PR through his social media handle to not create fake stories about how the starlet was being chosen as the heroine for Super 30. Hrithik also mentioned that the heroine (Mrunal Thakur) had been finalised around eight months ago.
