Pakistan chaiwala gearing up for Bollywood?

When the Internet collectively drooled over the image of Pakistan’s most popular chaiwala Arshad Ali earlier this year, he was understandably overwhelmed by the attention. Soon after, he was quick to lap up the glory, and also set up a PR machinery. When asked if he’d like to join Bollywood, the blue-eyed boy had hesitated to reply. However, from what we hear now, Arshad seems to be ready to take on Bollyland now, should an offer be made.

A well-placed source from the Pakistan film industry shares, “There are hundreds of blue-eyed boys in the Peshawar/Balochistan area. Arshad, luckily for him, became a symbol of ‘poverty porn’. Now after modelling, he is preparing himself for Bollywood, but is waiting for the tension between the two countries to cool off.”
