Arjun, who plays a calculating cop, tryies to unravel the mystery surrounding Durga Rani Singh.
Mumbai: While it's been a Vidya Balan show all the way, until now, seems like Arjun Rampal is slowly coming of his own in the 'Kahaani 2: Duraga Rani Singh' promo.
In the latest promo, however, Arjun is royally trolled by fellow officer, Kharaj Mukherjee.
The actor, who plays an inspector fresh on the trail of Vidya, seems to give her the benefit of doubt, despite of having told she's an absconding kidnapper.
This is when the inspector tells him, "Jo mai bolta hun woh suno. Tumhara jo gut feeling hai usko pet ke andar hi renhe do. Usse bahar mat aane do."
Arjun, who plays a calculating cop, trying to unravel the mystery surrounding Durga Rani Singh, is different from his usual demeanour.
'Kahaani' put a career too many on a sky high pedestal, including those of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, director Sujoy Ghosh, and even Vidya Balan to a fair extent.
The Sujoy Ghosh directorial is slated to release on December 2.
