Interestingly, Soha paired her outfit not with a bag but with her book The Perils of Being Moderately Famous, which she wore on a chain.
All eyes were on Soha Ali Khan as she strut down the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2020 ramp for designer Shahin Mannan. Dressed in a deep blue bustier top with a matching long skirt, the Rang De Basanti actress’ outfit came from Mannan’s Fernweh collection, named after a German word that refers to a longing for far off places.
Interestingly, Soha paired her outfit not with a bag but with her book The Perils of Being Moderately Famous, which she wore on a chain. “It’s so cool, my bag is my book,” she smiles as she holds the accessory up for a better view. “I do like to read sometimes, but you don’t know where to put the book. You don’t need anything else apart from a book when you are sitting around and waiting for a meeting or whatever. And, what better than a book that you have written yourself?” she adds with a laugh.
The actress reveals that she has worked with Mannan before. “I have worn Shahin’s clothes many times. It so coincides with the clothes that resonate with you; the personality of the clothes’ and the designer clothes resonate with me. I enjoy wearing her clothes. Its been kept very edgy. This particular collection is about travel, which is again something that we enjoy doing. It’s comfortable, of course, but you can also make a comfortable statement,” she explains.
