Deepika Padukone on rejection spree

Deepika Padukone, who is one of the highest-paid actresses in Bollywood, will now be seen in a biopic on acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, and she will also be seen with her husband Ranveer Singh in ‘83.

The Padmaavat actress is extremely particular about the scripts that she picks, and has been on a rejection spree lately. A source close to the actress reveals, “Deepika is enjoying her time doing the films that she likes to do. She is currently in no hurry to add more films to her filmography. She has been hearing few scripts, but nothing has caught her interest by far.”

According to the source, she has also been reading a few web-series scripts and has liked the ideas. While there have also been reports about her doing a film with Ranbir Kapoor, there has been no formal announcement.
