Katrina Kaif’s team plant rumours
The actress said no to Saaho before Baahubali released, and now her team is trying to cash in on its success.
It’s been two days now since news reports of Katrina Kaif being paired with Baahubali superstar, Prabhas, in his next project Saaho has been doing the rounds.
However, the fact is that these reports are not true and were probably planted by those who wish it were.
A source close to the project, says, “Katrina Kaif is not in Saaho. She could’ve been part of it, as we had chased her for six months. This was before the release of Baahubali 2, when she didn’t think working with Prabhas was worth her while. So, after pursuing her for six months, we gave up on the idea of signing her for the movie. Now, when Baahubali 2 has turned out to be a much bigger success than expected, Kat’s team is spreading stories of her presence in Saaho. It’s just not true.”
Apparently, a whole lot of Bollywood actresses were approached to co-star with Prabhas in Saaho, before Baahubali 2 was released. But they all played hard to get, or quoted astronomical remunerations. Now that Baahubali 2 has released, and his pairing with Anushka Shetty has been well-received, Prabhas has decided to work with a Telugu actress in Saaho.
