Despite being spotted together at several events and instances, Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani have always maintained that they were nothing more than ‘just friends’.

While Tiger posted a picture showing of a ring and captioned it “Turns out I’m taken”, Disha posted a similar picture on her account accompanied by the caption, “Someone popped the question, and I said yes.”

Immediately, the internet was rife with speculations about the couple being engaged. Alas, it wasn’t the case, since it turns out that the photographs were more connected to a brand than a life event. The actors were promoting a certain soft drink brand and their clever photographs and captions did a great job of ‘engaging’ our attention.
