After all, Varun too was part of the ‘Movies Meets Modi’ brigade a few weeks ago along with Karan Johar.
After the stay on the release of PM Narendra Modi starring Vivek Oberoi, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan says that one has to respect the law of the land in such cases.
“I think when things involve bodies like the Election Commission, we have to respect the process and let it be,” says the actor.
However, coming from a film family, Varun’s roots are ingrained in the film industry and the actor does not mind giving whatever help he can to the makers of the film. After all, Varun too was part of the ‘Movies Meets Modi’ brigade a few weeks ago along with Karan Johar.
“Since we are a part of the (film) fraternity, if any of us get a call, we will go out and help eventually, but we have to respect the jurisdiction and the law. And, we have to do what the law decides,” says Varun quite guarded and being politically correct about his statement.
