Deepika-Ranbir in Luv Ranjan’s film

The real-life couple - Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone – are taking a break from the reel life paring. That’s the level of professionalism the newlywed couple intends to exercise over their respective careers.

However, the Piku actress will once again be seen paired opposite her ex-flame, Ranbir Kapoor. After the successfull hit Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, the two will next be seen is Luv Ranjan’s film that features Ajay Devgn apart from Ranbir.

Says a source,  “In spite of two solid male stars, Ranjan’s film has a terrific role for the female lead. Deepika is the first choice and there’s no reason why she would turn down a plum role like this.”

The Luv Ranjan film begins shooting in mid-2019. By then Deepika would be done with her film Chhapaak directed by Meghna Gulzar.
