Varun-Alia’s chemistry speeds up Kalank shoot

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan have been one of the audience’s favourite on-screen couples ever since they made their debut in Student Of the Year. Over the years, they’ve worked together in hit films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania and maintained a fabulous working relationship.

For a while, there was speculation that the two were perhaps dating, but those rumours turned out to be unfounded.

Now, the actors are working together in yet another Dharma Productions film – Kalank, for which they’re shooting at breakneck speed in the picturesque Kargil valley. And according to sources, thanks to the chemistry they share, things couldn’t be going more smoothly.

“Every shot is being canned quickly. Varun and Alia know each other so well that they do not require more than a single take unless it’s for technical reasons. And in between shots they have so much free time that they end up goofing around and taking pictures before the technical team sets up the next scene,” a source says.

Alia recently posted a picture of the two of them shooting together, with snow-clad mountains in the backdrop, and it’s nothing short of magical. We’re sure the audience is dying to see them share screen space again.
