Crisis in the Roshan home
Reports of Hrithik Roshan’s sister, Sunaina, siding with Kangana in the ongoing war between the two sides has greatly embarrassed her family.
From obesity to cancer and depression, Hrithik Roshan’s sister Sunaina has battled it all, publicly acknowledging her struggles and how she overcame the odds stacked against her.
But after a section of the media recently reported about her failing health, Sunaina rubbished the rumours, and emphasised that she is well. However, a family friend reveals, “There are unresolved tensions with the family that need to be urgently addressed. Unfortunately, Sunaina’s father Rakeshji is in no mood to accommodate his daughter’s stress into his line of conversation. He just refuses to discuss her problems, which is further angering her.” Even brother Hrithik seems to have little inclination to help his sister out.
Apparently, the family’s indifference has pushed Sunaina over the edge. Kangana Ranaut’s vocal sister, Rangoli’s, tweet suggesting that Sunaina has been calling Kangana to offer secret and silent support in the Hrithik-Kangana war, has only caused further embarrassment to the family.
While the Roshans have maintained a dignified silence in the face of Sunaina’s open rebellion, a family friend says that they are extremely embarrassed and worried by their daughter’s conduct.
“Rakeshji and (wife) Pinkyji have done their best to curb Sunaina’s rebellion. But nothing works. She is unstoppable. The family won’t comment on the accusations against her. But they are deeply disturbed by her behaviour,” says the family friend, who adds that Kangana’s sister is probably telling the truth about Sunaina calling up the actress.
“Sunaina is in a state of mind where she would sympathise with anyone who has an axe to grind with her family. All she really wants is for her parents to give her the same attention as that given to her brother. She feels neglected and angry,” adds the source.
Unfortunately, there seems to be little dialogue between Sunaina and her parents, which is further aggravating an already difficult situation. Meanwhile, friends of the family are trying to diffuse the situation, and hoping that the crisis will blow over soon.
