Priyanka appointed UNICEF Global Goodwill Ambassador

The second season of Priyanka Chopra's international series 'Quantico' is currently underway and the trailer of her Hollywood debut 'Baywatch' also released recently, with the actress also making appearances at the Academy Awards and Grammys previously. And with all of this, the actress seems to have definitely made her presence felt on a global level.

Priyanka was previously associated with the UNICEF as a Goodwill Ambassador on a national level and her global popularity seems to be one of the factors behind the association now being taken on a global level.

Priyanka took to social media to announce the news that she was on board as the UNICEF Global Goodwill Ambassador to take forward the work she had done in India on a global scale and that she felt 'honoured'. The actress would be working on the ‘for every child’ initiative, which works towards protecting children’s rights around the world.

Priyanka also shared pictures where she is posing along with the likes of superstars like Jackie Chan, David Beckham, Orlando Bloom among others.
