Ishaan Khatter excels in Mira Nair’s 'A Suitable Boy'

Since Ishaan Khatter’s appearance in Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Cloud in 2017, which was followed by Karan Johar’s Dhadak in 2018, the talented actor has not only garnered much praise, but also won awards for his performances.

Now, though Ishaan seems to have taken a decent amount of time in choosing his next project, when he did, he has left his fans excited.

His next role is in BBC’s upcoming drama called A Suitable Boy, which has been adapted from Vikram Seth’s novel by the same name and is directed by Mira Nair.

Ever since the film’s first look was released, where a mesmerised Ishaan Khatter was seen passionately staring at the gorgeous actress Tabu, the industry as well as his fans, have been praising the actor.

A dapper looking Ishaan seems to be creating the right impact with his character in the drama series’ teasers, leaving his fans asking for more.

Maintaining the heightened excitement, the actor has also been treating his audiences with throwback pictures and videos of him prepping for the series. Expressing his excitement, Ishaan said, “A Suitable Boy has been an enriching experience and I’m ever so excited for people to see it.

Maan is one of the most interesting characters I’ve read and portraying him on screen has been a delight.”

Being the heartthrob that he is, Ishaan has consistently kept his fans and audiences’ heartbeats racing with his performances earlier. This time too, it surely seems that the actor will charm us with a never-seen-before avatar of his.

The drama is said to be a six-part series and has been shot majorly in Lucknow and Maheshwar, in India.

Other than A Suitable Boy, Ishaan also has in the pipeline a romantic action thriller Khaali Peeli with Ananya Pandey.
