Kush Sinha is all praises for Sonakshi Sinha’s ethics

Kush Sinha, who roped in his father Shatrughan Sinha and sister Sonakshi Sinha for a short film, Mauke Ke Pankh recently, can’t stop gushing over Sona’s professionalism.

Talking about the movie, based on the social message of beti bachao, Kush says, “I have worked as an assistant director, and certain actors tend to work differently, after they achieve stardom; they take their tag for granted. Sonakshi hasn’t taken her stardom for granted. Despite coming from the Sinha family, she still respects and values her stardom. She’s always on time and is a thorough profession.”

Ask Kush if it it’s easier to cast stars from his family, and he firmly says, “I like it when people come on board on the basis of merit. They should like the concept. It’s not like they should be doing me a favour just because I’m making it. I’m very clear about the fact that you do it if you like it, or else no problem. I wanted actors who are interested in being a part of it wholeheartedly, since it’s for a good cause.”

Talking about the film that was released on social media yesterday, Kush adds that Sonakshi and Shatrughan were the right choice for this video. “Sonakshi has a huge reach, and it makes sense to get her and my father on board, as it also goes with the concept of beti bachao. The movie is like the father narrating, and the daughter featuring in it. I made one thing very clear to my producer, that they’ll have to pitch this to them, because eventually they have to like the idea. So they came on board purely on the basis of merit, and not because I’m related to them by blood.”
