One film a year for Kareena

After the birth of baby Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, mommy Kareena Kapoor Khan had decided to step back for a bit and enjoy her motherhood. However, unlike other actresses who normally take a break for a few years, Kareena doesn’t want to let go of meaty roles that come her way over the next few years.

The actress didn’t take a break when she was pregnant, but did opt out of some films. She lost out on Golmaal Returns, the fourth instalment in the Golmaal series, because director Rohit Shetty was reportedly too scared to ask her.

Hence, Kareena will be concentrating on bringing up little Taimur and doing one film a year. The actress, who’s still taking time off to raise her toddler, will be filming Veere Di Wedding next. The movie, directed by Shashanka Ghosh and co-staring Sonam Kapoor will see Kareena starring opposite Permanent Roommates star Sumeet Vyas.
