Sonakshi Sinha recreates Helen’s moves, again

Sonakshi Sinha has just shot her third retro-inspired item song of the year. After grooving to Rafta Rafta in Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se and Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu in Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi, the actress has recreated yesteryear star Helen’s moves in Mungda, a song originally sung by Usha Mangeshkar.

“It is a very iconic song, and I am thrilled to have done it. It sounds like a cliché, but I am very excited about the song. It is the second song of Helen aunty’s that I have done in one year. She is such a legend, and Mungda is such a catchy song. The music has also been redone very well,” Sonakshi says.

Last year, Sonakshi also featured in a remake of the song Gulabi Aankhen in her film Noor.
