Queen of Ice movie coming soon

Pooja Shetty of Adlabs Films Limited has acquired the rights to Devika Rangachari’s Queen of Ice, a novel about a princess called Didda who is married off to the king of Kashmira. And according to sources, it’s likely to be turned into a film soon.

“The characters Didda, Tunga and Valga have become very popular. It’s surprising that the adaptation rights to the book have not been picked up by south Indian filmmakers, because the novel is famous in the south,” a trade source says.

Sources also reveal that the production house has already identified a director to helm the project, and an official announcement is imminent.
