Alia Bhatt’s dinner date with Ranbir Kapoor's family

It was a meet-the-family moment for Alia Bhatt as the actress was invited by Ranbir Kapoor to have dinner with his family. This is the first time a lady-love of the actor has accompanied him on a family outing. “It can be recalled that when Ranbir was dating two other Bollywood heroines — read Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone —  they never accompanied RK junior on any family outing, but were restricted to being with him either on exotic locations or at other dinner dates. Alia coming out in the open with Ranbir and going out with his family is a very positive sign in their relationship,” says a source.

In fact, Alia was seen bonding with Ranbir’s niece and sister Riddhima’s daughter, Samara. “Alia is one of Samara’s favourite actresses and Samara and she bond very well,” adds our source.
