Nawazuddin Siddiqui says he did not spy on his wife

In a recent Twitter post, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said “Last evening, I was helping my daughter to prepare her school project Hydroelectric Power Generator & went to her school this morning for Project Exhibition. To my surprise the media had questions about some random allegations on me #Disgust (sic).”  

The actor and his wife were summoned by the police for investigations in the Call Data Records case that was unearthed in January. Nawazuddin was accused of hiring private detectives to spy on his wife. The news came to light when his name came up after the police arrested 11 people, most of whom were private detectives, who had illegally procured Call Data Records of people for their clients. One of the arrested told the police that an advocate, Rizwan Siddiqui, had obtained the CDR of the actor’s wives from private detectives.
