It’s all about Sunny Nijar

Fatima Sana Shaikh is reuniting with Sunny Nijar, her co-star from Akaash Vani, which starred Kartik Aaryan and Nushrat Bharucha in the lead roles. Sunny was also seen in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

While Kartik and Nushrat went on to sign a slew of films, Sunny was guarded about which film he was signing next. He was good at comedy, and that’s what every filmmaker wanted to use him for.

“But he has been rather choosy. When he realised that he is getting a good comedy script with an experienced director like Satish Rajawade and Fatima Sana Shaikh as his heroine, Sunny thought he should sign the film. He will also be seen in next week’s release Jhootha Kahin Ka, where he shares screen space with Rishi Kapoor,” a trade source reveals.

Satish Rajawade, who has made 14 Marathi films till date (most of which were blockbusters), has been roped in to direct this film. It will be produced by former T-Series bossman Ajay Kapoor. The film is slated to hit the floors in a few weeks’ time.

Interestingly, there are four Sunnys playing lead roles in Bollywood at the moment – Sunny Deol, Sunny Kaushal, Sunny Singh and Sunny Leone.
