The new Cabinet has been announced after the reshuffle, and BJP MP and Bollywood icon Hema Malini says that she has no intention to be in the ministry. “My nature is such that I cannot become a minister and rule. I feel happy with what I have. I have no desire to be a minister. And I do not expect to become one either. I want to work in the field of culture and feel content there. If I take up a role in the ministry, I will be away from Mumbai, Bollywood and culture,” she says.

Malini says that she is only worried about her constituency Mathura and that work that she does there as the sitting Member of Parliament. “I won the elections and became an MP so that I could do some good work as a member of parliament. I am happy with the work that I have done so far. But I want to bring a lot of changes to my constituency. I will not sit idle before I achieve that. My workers get stressed out whenever they see me because I get them to do a lot of work. I hope to get more things done soon,” says the actress.
