Fault In Our Stars: The title of Sushant-Sanjana starrer revealed, shoot begins today

Produced by Fox Star Studios, the Indian adaptation marks the directorial debut of casting director Mukesh Chhabra.

Mumbai: Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi will play the lead in the upcoming Bollywood remake of the popular Hollywood film, The Fault in Our Stars. Now the latest update on that front is that the film has been titled 'Kizie Aur Manny'. And the team has commenced the shoot in Jamshedpur.

Speaking on the same, debutant director Mukesh Chabbra, who is famously known as a casting director, stated that he was keen on the location of Jamshedpur. He revealed that whilst scouting for locations, he had heard about it from director Imtiaz Ali and R Madhavan. So when he arrived at the city for recce he felt it was apt for the film. Further he reasoned that he required the small town vibe for his movie. He also described that Jamshedpur is a city with a big heart and cosmopolitan crowd which made it perfect set-up for the film.

Sushant Singh Rajput took to Twitter to share teaser poster and title of the film. He wrote, "#KizieAurManny ❤️@sanjanasanghi96 An adaptation of The Fault in our Stars.@johngreen @foxstarhindi

There are no confirmed details on how closely the film will follow its source material or the original film, but the movie will feature score by music maestro A.R.Rahman.

The Hollywood flick The Fault in Our Stars is an adaptation of the novel written by John Green, which goes by the same name. The original film stars The film stars Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort, Nat Wolff, and Laura Dern.

Produced by Fox Star Studios, the Indian adaptation marks the directorial debut of casting director Mukesh Chhabra. The shooting for the film will begin in the middle of 2018.
