Athiya Shetty doesn’t take link ups with Arjun Kapoor seriously

The rumours linking Athiya Shetty and Arjun Kapoor refuse to die down. However, Athiya seems unfazed by them.

“I don’t deal with these things. I just laugh out loud at all these reports. It’s new for me, but I don’t take it too seriously because I have known Arjun forever. So, for the media, it’s news, but I have always known him,” Athiya says.

Ask Athiya how her family reacts to these reports, and she says, “It never makes it to dinner table conversation. It’s not awkward, but a part and parcel of the film industry.”

Athiya will be seen sharing screen space with Arjun Kapoor in Anees Bazmee’s Mubarakan. Her debut venture Hero didn’t work the way as expected.

“Because it was our first film, we didn’t know what was going on. Somewhere I did lose my confidence as the movie didn’t meet the expectations. But now I have accepted who I am, and I am working on regaining my poise,” Athiya concludes.
