Shraddha Kapoor gets down to work

Hours after signing up as the lead in a dance film, Shraddha Kapoor has already begun rehearsing for the film’s songs and dances with Varun Dhawan and director choreographer Remo D’Souza.

It was interesting to note how quickly Shraddha got back with her ABCD 2 co-star, Varun Dhawan, and director Remo after signing the deal with producer Bhushan Kumar, who, incidentally, is also bankrolling her film on Saina Nehwal.

“Shraddha had to juggle her dates for other films, but then she did not want to waste any time as she cut out on all her holidays and free time and devoted them to the new dance film. ABCD 2 made Rs 100 crore and it is one of the films that Shraddha is very proud of, which was the reason she agreed to do the film in the first place,” says a source.

Shraddha stepped into Katrina Kaif’s shoes as the actress had to back out of it due to her film Bharat. Curiously, Katrina herself had stepped into Priyanka Chopra’s shoes when she dropped out of Bharat.
