It is a tribute to the 1971 classic film Haathi Mere Saathi starring Rajesh Khanna and Tanuja.
Actor Rana Daggubati who has already shot a few portions of the film Haathi Mere Saathi is back in action for the final schedule of the film.
Rana took to the social media site to give an update about his project. On Tuesday, he tweeted: “Morning... Off into the jungles of Kerala for filming 'Haathi Mere Saathi'.”
The film is an animal drama also featuring Pulkit Samrat and Kalki Koechlin. Helmed by Prabhu Solomon, the trilingual is being shot simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil with a different cast across languages.
The movie highlights a man-animal relationship and is a story inspired by true events. It is a tribute to the 1971 classic film Haathi Mere Saathi starring Rajesh Khanna and Tanuja.
