Mahesh Bhatt’s rendezvous with Ranbir Kapoor

On Friday night Alia Bhatt played host to an interesting pair – her father Mahesh Bhatt, and her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. The trio apparently spent over two hours talking, and papa-Bhatt was even gracious enough to grant the lovebirds some quality time alone on the balcony.

“They talked for a long time. Mahesh Bhatt expressed his point of view regarding a few things and made some emphatic remarks. He was meeting Ranbir for the first time in Alia’s presence, and he spent some time talking to him as well,” says an eyewitness.

We wonder if Bhatt-sahab was advising them on their personal relationship or their Bollywood careers. Sources close to the filmmaker reveal that Ranbir and Alia may feature in a romantic film bankrolled by the Bhatts. “It could very well be Aashiqui 3 because there is a huge demand for that franchise. But we will have to wait for an official announcement,” says a source.

Well, in that case, we have two announcements to await – one professional and the other personal.
