Akshay's treat for the paps

You almost never see Akshay Kumar pandering to the paparazzi. But he seemed to be in a particularly good mood this Saturday morning. The actor, who was spotted at the airport, didn’t just pose for pictures in the middle of his brisk walk, but he also performed some stunts for the camera.

“The moment Akshay stepped out of his car and saw the posse of photographers ready to click him, he decided to try out a stunt. With a little help from his bodyguard, Akshay jumped up on one of the short pillars outside the airport and balanced himself atop it on one leg. Laughing out loud, he let the paps get a different kind of picture, for a change. One does not know the reason, but he seemed pretty happy,” says an eyewitness.

On the work front, Akshay has produced the upcoming Marathi movie Chumbak, which stars Swanand Kirkire. He’s also awaiting the release of his film Gold, directed by Reema Kagti.
