A leading multiplex chain is screening some of the special actress' most popular films on the special occasion.

Mumbai: Sridevi is rightly called a legend of the film industry and her 300 films in multiple languages, beauty, impeccable acting skills and countless number of fans worldwide are just some of the reasons for it.

The legend breathed her last on February 24, only to remain in the hearts of her fans and in the form of her films and the memories associated with them.

Die-hard fans of the actress have been watching re-runs of the tributes to her on news channels, watching her films on TV, DVDs and even video cassettes, and getting mesmerised by her dance, charm, expressions and much more.

But for fans who fell in love with the actress watching her on the big screen in 70 mm, here’s your chance to revisit the actress’ charm on Thursday on the occasion of Women’s Day.

Multiplex chain PVR is screening her iconic films like ‘Chandni’ (1989), ‘Chaalbaaz’ (1989), ‘Lamhe’ (1991) and her last two Bollywood films ‘English Vinglish’ (2012) and ‘Mom’ (2017) at their theatres across the country, according to report in Mid-day.

Sridevi’s husband Boney is also delighted with the news.

"I am honoured that someone has taken this initiative. It feels good to know that some of Sridevi's best works is going to be celebrated. I can't think of a better way to honour her. It will be a treat for her fans to revisit her films," the producer told the tabloid.

Grab your tickets soon as the fans queuing up at the ticket windows won't be in small numbers.
