Simmba to be a franchise

The Karan Johar produced film Simmba is set for release on December 28, but the film’s makers Karan as well as the director and co-producer Rohit Shetty are all set to go ahead with the second part of the film soon.

It has to be noted that the Rohit has already made sequels to films like Singham and Golmaal and all these films have been runaway hits at the box office. The fourth part of Golmaal has gone ahead to clock Rs 200 crore at the box office as well.

Quiz Karan about the possibility of whether Singham would also be a franchise and he affirms that there would be many parts to the film. “Neki aur pooch-pooch? Rohit’s other name is Rohit Franchise Shetty. He can make a franchise to any film. He cannot make a franchise on himself because there can be no other Rohit Shetty. All I can say now is book your show,” Karan chuckles in his inimitable style.

It has to be noted that Ajay Devgn the hero of Rohit’s Singham series has a pivotal role in Simmba which has Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood toplining the cast.
