Ranveer hasn’t signed film with Deepika and Vidhu

Ranveer Singh met with director Vidhu Vinod Chopra a few days ago, and so did Deepika Padukone. Soon, rumours of them working together started doing the rounds. Deepika’s hectic schedule with Sanjay Leeela Bhansali’s Padmavati and her Hollywood commitments were the reason she was not signing any Bollywood films. Her western projects included a sequel to xXx: Return of the Xander Cage.

But now Ranveer’s PR team vehemently denies that Ranveer has signed or even discussed a project with Chopra.

“I checked with him, and there is no truth to this at all,” says Ranveer’s spokesperson.

Incidentally, even Ranbir Kapoor met Vidhu recently. While one understands Ranbir meeting Chopra because they are working together on Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, but we wonder what casual meetings take place at the office between actors and filmmakers who have no intention of working together.
