Scions all set for a debut

Khushi Kapoor, the young daughter of Boney and Sridevi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Agastya Nanda, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson and the son of Shweta Nanda who will make their debut in the Netflix project.

“Reema and Zoya have developed a bible which can take the story beyond a single film and it could be a series of films on the subject after the first one is out. Agastya is being groomed to play Archie, the shorter Suhana is slated to play Betty and the taller Khushi is billed to play Veronica. Other actors for Reggie, Jughead, Moose and Big Ethel apart from Dilton Doiley will be cast soon,” informs a source.

While Khushi and Suhana have already completed their film training courses from the USA at the New York Film Academy and New York University's Tisch School of The Arts respectively, Agasyta Nanda who graduated from the New Oks, London is taking acting classes.

Agastya and Suhana however are also being primed in their dancing skills with Zoya supervising the same. Zoya who had announced the project last year to bring Riverdale into a desi location in India has been monitoring their progress to see how much they need to progress. “The film has a lot of film industry kids and will be subject to close scrutiny. Though this is not a Karan Johar film, the nepotism charges will keep coming up on social media and hence Zoya wants the star kids to be on top of their game when she films them,” adds the source.

Zoya has still not made an announcement of the cast as yet.
