Rochelle, Keith get hitched down south

Rochelle went back to her roots and chose to have her wedding in her hometown Chennai! The couple who were seen together on television’s hottest reality show Bigg Boss have been engaged for a while now. They decided to exchange vows, in an extremely intimate affair in Mahabalipuram, which also happens to be Rochelle’s hometown.

It’s raining weddings this year in B-town and here we share some more priceless moments from yet another fairy tale ceremony — that of VJ, model and actor Keith Sequeira to ex Miss India, Rochelle Rao.

Keith and Rochelle chose to have an elegant but private beach wedding at a quiet resort, surrounded by those closest to them. Rochelle, who was always keen on a fairy tale like beach wedding, finally zeroed in on quaint and scenic Mahabalipuram as the location for the special ceremony.

The bride had always been keen on celebrating her special day in her hometown, wanted to go back to her roots to exchange vows with Keith. Besides having spent most of her childhood in Chennai, the city is also where her parents Dr and Mrs Rao had gotten married, and so she was quite keen on carrying on the tradition, which Keith too happily agreed upon.

Rochelle went ahead with a classic white wedding dress and the affair was low-key. Everything from the decor to the music was done tastefully, keeping in mind the couple’s choices, which were all closely monitored by Rochelle with help from her sister VJ Paloma who lives in Chennai. No surprise that Paloma was the ‘Maid of Honour’ at the wedding.

The wedding which witnessed some lovely vows on the beach, heart warming speeches and toasts to the couple by their loved ones, as well as lots of fun and dancing, absolutely redefined ‘the classic white wedding’. It certainly was a special day to be remembered by all.
