Amitabh Bachchan gets stylish by the day

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has started shooting for the 11th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, will elevate his sartorial choices, says his personal stylist and designer Priya Patil.

Talking about Big B’s look, she says, “The look that Mr. Bachchan elegantly carries is a stylish and a classic one, and that’s a style he personally loves as well. Yet again this season, I will be keeping three-piece suits, which have been constant since last season, with an addition of different, deep and formal colors like navy blue and black. The specific element that I will be playing around with will be the tie knots — The Eldredge knot, Trinity knot and Rose knot, to name a few — which will give a bold look to the classic suit.”

Priya further reveals that Big B has a great sense of style himself, so he gives his inputs as well. “He is very open to taking and giving suggestions. In fact, he was the one who introduced brooches on ties last year, as he wanted to try something different. We had to make the brooches ourselves, as it was not available in the market. The style was at all the fashion outlets in Mumbai once his style was on  the television. All these looks are tailored with the help of amazing craftsmanship and brands, who have been a huge support for me. This year, we are going on light looks for his jacket, such as the minimalistic lapel pins in his ties.”
