Stardom is Transitory: Sonam Kapoor

Star-kid Sonam Kapoor Ahuja knows that it’s just as easy to fall as it’s difficult to rise in the film industry. The actress, who has never let success go to her head, says that stardom is “not real”.

“I think it’s because I have been born and brought up in this industry. I know whatever goes up, comes down. So it’s important to remain grounded and understand that it’s not real. All this stuff is transitory; it goes away,” Sonam says.

After the hugely-successful Veere Di Wedding, Sonam will soon be seen in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, which looks promising, going by its teaser.

“It’s important to value things that are going to stay on with you. Work is just work, it’s not life! I respect everybody, and that’s the way it is,” says the actress who recently tied the knot with businessman Anand Ahuja. The newly-weds will soon move into their new apartment in Bandra.
