Alia Bhatt’s take on marriage and motherhood

Alia Bhatt is known for her forthcoming nature and has seldom shied away from answering questions. So, when asked about her view on Sonam Kapoor tying the knot, she said, “I am really happy for Sonam; her face looks so happy.”

Alia also shared her views on young actresses getting married. “I feel that by getting married at an early age, young actresses like Anushka Sharma and Sonam Kapoor are paving the way for all of us young girls to get married at whatever age we wish to. They are not scared to slipping in their professions, as they are confident that they will get work even after getting married. Earlier, actresses getting married at an early age would prove counterproductive for their career, but this is no more the case,” she asserts.

Talking about her marriage, she says, “I am gathering all the confidence from them. If at all within a year, two years or after three years I decide to get married, I will get married unhesitatingly. This trend of getting married at an early age is giving me hope. After marriage, we will not be without a career.”

Alia also takes a progressive view on mothers flaunting baby bumps.

“Having conceived and being pregnant is a blessing indeed. It is also a beautiful experience. Look at Bebo, (Kareena Kapoor) she flaunted her baby bump merely a year ago. Today she looks so beautiful having maintained herself for her forthcoming film. It must have been challenging for her,” she says.  

So has Alia found a partner already? The dimpled beauty smiles and says, “Pata nahi! I don’t know!”
