Prakash Jha and Sanjay Dutt may team up

Prakash Jha is known for his hard-hitting political dramas, and was last seen directing Jai Gangajal with Priyanka Chopra in 2016. Buzz is that the filmmaker now is ready with a script in place for his next, and is keen to cast Sanjay Dutt in the lead role.

“Prakash has written a script with a political backdrop, and has started hunting for the leading actor for the film,” reveals a source. “He wants to cast Sanjay for the same, since he feels the actor will do complete justice to the role. Nothing is confirmed as of now, though, since he’s yet to give the bound script to Sanju.”

Sanjay was last seen in Bhoomi, and seems to be in a rather serious zone when it comes to movies right now. Prakash’s political drama could be a good fit for him, provided he takes up the role and comes on board.

Prakash, meanwhile, also produced Lipstick Under My Burkha, that made headlines all over in 2017. He seems to have caught the pulse of the audience just right, and his next movie could be one to watch out for.
