No negativity around Anushka

Mum-to-be Anushka Sharma is in the UAE, watching husband and the Indian cricket team skipper play in the ongoing IPL season. The actress, who has often been unfairly targeted for Virat’s lack of performances or if his team loses a match, has this once found a lot of support from her fans and followers in the net.

When Virat led Royal Challengers Bangalore lost the match against Delhi Capitals on Monday, many netizens came out in support of Anushka, stating she should not be dragged into the conversation. The pictures shared on social media by fans show Anushka in the stand wearing white dress and cheering her husband playing on the field.

“No Negativity around her today please no matter what(sic),” one user wrote in a tweet.

“Protect anushka sharma at any cost(sic),” wrote another.

Readers and fans might remember that just a few weeks back, former cricketer Sunil Gavaskar had blamed Anushka for Virat’s bad performance on the field. The actress had, in turn, taken a firm stand against Gavaskar’s comments and called it ‘distasteful’.
