Sanju song Badhiya: It’s an interchange of gender for Ranbir and Sonam

‘Badhiya’ is a typical 80s song, with that kind of dressing and setup, for all characters including Ranbir and Sonam.

Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming movie ‘Sanju’ has released its first song some time back. Titled ‘Main Badhiya Tu Bhi Badhiya’, the song features Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor along with Anil Mange in a special appearance.

The song comes at a point where Sanju, played by Ranbir, wants to prove his father Sunil Dutt, played by Paresh Rawal wrong, as he lip-syncs not only to male, but also female voice.

‘Badhiya’ is a typical 80s song, with that kind of dressing and setup, for all characters including Ranbir and Sonam.

While the song begins with Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam also makes an entry, and like a cool girlfriend, lip-syncs along with Sanju to the male version of the song.

In fact the song ‘Badhiya’ perfectly depicts Sanjay Dutt’s carefree personality. Watch the song here:
