Krushna Abhishek replaces Uncle Govinda

Director Vinod Tiwari had approached Govinda to play the character of Tharki Hero in his upcoming film, Teri Bhabhi Hain Pagle and the actor had agreed to do the role. However, since the senior actor didn’t have free dates for another six months, the director chose to cast his nephew, Krushna Abhishek, instead.

Commenting on the switch, director Vinod says, “Govinda ji was very keen on doing the role, but unfortunately, due to lack of dates for six months, he couldn’t come on board. Krushna was always on my mind when I was writing the script so when our coordinator mentioned that Krushna might be available, I immediately approached him as he was always the first choice.”

The film, which is a comedy-drama, will tell the story of a complicated romantic relationship. It will feature an ensemble cast of Krushna Abhishek, Rajniesh Duggall, Nazia Hussain along with Deepshika Nagpal, Mukul Dev, Sunil Pal, Khayali Ram, Nancy Marwah and Aman Verma.
