Forget Virushka wedding, Deepika has no time for Sonam Kapoor’s wedding either
There was a time when Deepika and Sonam, despite having reportedly dated the same guy, were good friends.

Allegedly, Sonam’s recent comment on Deepika’s fashion has pinched the latter actress, and now, there appears to be one upmanship between the two.
Sonam recently confirmed that she will get married to Anand Ahuja on 8th May, but reportedly Deepika is all set to get married this year too.
Ever since Sonam announced her marriage, news of Bollywood’s who’s who making it to the guest list made rounds.
Like expected, Deepika might not be a part of the wedding and she co-incidentally has a pretty good reason for it.
Dippy will be attending the Met Gala in New York on May 7th, post which she will get busy preparing for her Cannes red carpet appearance on May 10th. Between the two, it seems unlikely that the actress will make an exception to attend Sonam’s wedding which will take place in Mumbai on 8th May.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time that Deepika has skipped a wedding. The Virushka (Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma) wedding (one of the biggest events of the year, mind you) which happened in December also was not attended by the ‘Cocktail’ actress.
We guess like Priyanka, Deepika is looking towards Hollywood in order to avoid awkward encounters back at home.
