Friends turn foes?

At the recently concluded IFFI, Akshay Kumar too was one of the many celebs present for the event in Goa. However, if there was someone who wasn’t so happy with Akshay being at the venue, it was Salman Khan.

Sources say that Salman’s unpleasant behaviour was noted by other guests too. So much so that Salman desperately tried to avoid the Rustom actor. In a video that is doing the rounds, Salman’s look, while Akshay cajoled Amitabh  Bachchan on-stage, left many pondering.

Rumour mills seem to be of the opinion that the friendship has probably gone sour. “From the time, Salman’s PR manager Reshma Shetty joined hands with Akshay, it didn’t go down well with Salman. Reshma has now been working over time to get the best assignments for Akshay. In fact, his PR machinery even tried to get Akshay on-board as host for Bigg Boss. However, they failed miserably, since the channel only trusts Salman,” says a source.

A few months prior to this, Salman even attended the trailer launch of Shankar’s magnum opus 2.0, which stars Akshay. Salman had dropped in saying, “I am here only because of Akshay. I was passing by when I heard about the launch, so I decided to gatecrash. Akshay is currently shining in his career.”

Previously, it was Shah Rukh Khan who faced the wrath of Salman’s anger. Vivek Oberoi was next, and has no place in Salman’s heart even today.

However, Salman is also known for his kind-heartedness. A source says, “Salman is one person who helps one and all. He was first rejected while auditioning for his mega hit, Maine Pyaar Kiya. But the Barjatya brothers decided to give him a role after he performed one shot to their satisfaction. A major reason why Salman was considered was because of his kindness towards others.” Let’s see if Salman decides to let bygones by bygones with Akshay.
